The bag is beautiful and soft, but has a very strange, strong odor that is not going away. I have researched online and it seems the odor is from the tanning process used on the leather.
However, what I REALLY would not recommend is purchasing this product from Creative Products. I was asked to review them as a seller and put much the same review as above. Then I was contacted by this seller and was TOLD to remove my prior feedback, even though they agreed with my observation that the bag had a strange odor from the tanning process. I was instructed that this was a place for review of their services and not a product review. I perceived the email as very pressuring. As I scrolled through their feedback, I noticed this was their response to most neutral/negative feedback. I think it’s very poor customer service that they are more concerned with their status on Amazon than customer satisfaction and the quality of the products they sell. I wished to change my feedback of them as a seller to negative because I will not do future business with an entity that instructs me on how to leave an opinion. That is very condescending treatment of your customers.
However, I removed the feedback with the hopes to leave new feedback. Creative Products is probably aware that once feedback is removed, a buyer cannot leave new feedback. I was not aware of this when I removed my feedback, although I should have guessed when Amazon encouraged me not to delete feedback even if pressured by a seller. This left me with a very negative impression of Creative Products.

This bag is much smaller then i was expecting. the zippers do not open/shut easily. I was very disapointed.

This backpack purse arrived with a zipper that wouldn’t zip. So after paying the $7 in shipping to get an unusable product, I had to pay another $9 to ship it back to get my original backpack cost of $15 back. All in all, I’m out $16 for something I no longer have. It seems like you shouldn’t have to pay for shipping on a defective product.

Great bag to carry around. Just right size for essential items. A front pocket with a main zipper compartment and a side zipper pocket.

Bag is a handy size. And easy to organize. Strap is a little too wide to work well as a sholder bag.

this bag is very well designed and is high quality workmanship and leather, soft as butter. one can wear it as is, or you can unzip the shoulder strap and use it as a backpack!

I bought this Sling despite the previous review because it fit our needs and was reasonable. If it turned out to be that bad, nothing much was lost. However, we were pleasantly surprised when ours arrived. There are no apparent defects, it looks good and with a little adjustment on the strap, carries well.

The handbag seemed the answer to all my requirements - lambskin, many storage areas & dividers, not too deep or wide & straps to fit over my shoulders & hug under my arm. I love the organizing, size and the length of the straps. The quality is so poor, it started falling apart & looking worn out after only 3 weeks! The color started peeling & wearing off, an outside zipper broke, and the straps started tearing off - It’s still hanging in there but you see the white fabric underneath.
I am so disappointed!!!

I bought this purse a couple of months ago. It is not solid leather, but parts of it are vinyl. The straps have all broken off repeatedly, and I have had to keep sewing them back on to the purse. It is also very cheap and cheesy looking. I’m already shopping for a new, better quality purse.

I really like the bag, the shoulder strap could be a little wider and thicker.

This purse is evidently what it says genuine lambskin, and has a leather smell sufficiently strong enough that it might need a little airing out, but it is a functional size.
However the “adjustable strap” adjusts from somewhat short to shorter. It is by no means a long strap which is what is implied by “adjustable strap”. It is also not a substantial strap. You may want to take a longer strap from another purse and replace this one if you use a long strap purse. Otherwise the purse is quite functional.

Maxam Genuine Lambskin Leather Purse w/ Adjustable Strap is about the best bargain I have ever seen. I bought this accessory so my wife could slide her paperwork in and carry it with her. I never dreamed that because the leather was so supple, pleasing to the touch, that she would want to use this “bag” as her purse, replacing it with a brand name purse costing at least 15 times as much! Yes, she carries her important papers with her while at the same time using it as her main purse. Friends and family admire it. Practical and aesthetically pleasing–all for an unbelievably low price!
